Capel Vinos, S.A. was born in 1956 as a small local winery in Murcia city. Its founders travelled around small towns in the southeast of Spain, looking for wine produced by cooperatives of small farmers to pack it in their installations and to supply the local market in the city and also in the surrounding area. The success of their wines and exceptional fruit, favoured a quick expansion of the company in all over Spanish east where the winery was positioned as one of the best companies in the area.
The nineties was the period of start of the international expansion of Capel Vinos,S.A. Encouraged by the success among Spanish people it began a process of participation in international fairs that allowed the company to close agreements with importers from European countries who immediately took an interest in the taste and characteristics of wines offered by the company.
Finally, the new 21th century with its trade globalization process, opened the access to markets outside Europe where importers from the five continents were interested in wines of our company and its deep trait of product from the land with the distinctive characteristics of wines produced in the southeast of Spain.
