The Cascina del Monastero is located in the Annunziata hamlet, in the heart of the Langhe. The Winery is located at the foot of the Morra hill with vineyards that extend over about 6 hectares. In the Roddino d’Alba region, we have our Dolcetto Superiore vineyard.
The limestone clay soil here produces generous wines, perfumed by the aromas of this wonderful land. The history of our Winery goes back to 1926.
Giuseppe Grasso now, My Father has extended the old farm with a construction of a new building that combines modern steel barrels with the more traditional oak barrels used for aging and refining the most prestigious wines.
In steel, wines are born and mature, where aromas and perfumes are defined and excellence is a firmed, a natural meeting place between modern techniques and ancient culture. It could not be otherwise, because wine needs one and the other to surpass our imagination in taste and aromas.
