VINEYARD

German Lyon and Juan Enrique Gaete started out in 2005, settling in the Maipo Andes Valley where they decided to plant the first grape vineyards starting with Syrah. A few years later, they planted Cabernet Sauvignon. Utilizing an organic and natural process, in 2012 they decided to bottle their first wines with a production of only 900 bottles. After receiving positive feedback, they decided to produce more quantities and as of today they have a total production of roughly 30,000 bottles per year between LOF Cabernet Sauvignon and Syrah.
LOF
LOF is the result of a small vineyard planted in their backyard, located just on the foot of the Andean Mountain range in the Maipo Andes Valley, Chile. German and Juan live amongst the plantations of the Syrah and Cabernet Sauvignon wine strains. These varieties have adapted perfectly on the rocky floor of the land. Their vines are planted amongst a mild slope between 6° and 9° South West, which allows a chilly breeze to refresh the graper and therefore, their wines as well.
