Near Fuenmayor (La Rioja) we have Tempranillo and Garnacha vineyards. Some of the plots are grown in the traditional gobelet pruning, and others in trellises. Landscapes of hills are protected by the sea with the influence of Sierra Cantabria mountains. The altitude ranges between 400 and 700M. The climate is continental with cold winters and hot dry summers. The soil is mainly calcareous clay with different concentrations.
